All of the babies are doing GREAT! They are growing and getting stronger everyday. It will not be long before they are ready to come home. We were told yesterday that Cooper might get to come home at the end of this week, but today he had an apnea episode where he was sleeping and forgot to breathe so now he will have to be monitored over the next few days and he has to go for 5 days without having another episode. So, hopefully he will come home sometime next week. Aiden and Landon still have some progress to make before they are ready to come home. They are both still on feeding tubes. Aiden has been eating from a bottle at each feeding and has not had to use the feeding tube in two days. Landon has to use the feeding tube for every other feeding, because he gets so tired when drinking form a bottle and he needs to rest his mouth before the next bottle feeding. So, for the twins they just have to learn to maintain their body temperature and get strong enough to eat from a bottle at every feeding. Cooper just has to go five days without having an apnea episode and also be able to maintain his body temperature on his own. Right now all of the babies are in the isolettes which help them to keep warm.
Aiden - 4 lbs. 1.8 oz
Landon - 4 lbs. 1.4 oz
Cooper - 4 lbs. 6.4 oz
