Baby Number Three Is On The Move!!

Landon finally started scooting today!!!!!!

All three babies are on the move at the Peacock household.

Way to go triplets!!!!!

Aiden, Landon and Cooper are 7 months old!!!

I cannot believe that the triplets are seven months old!!! That means that they are over half way through their first year of life. Next thing you know they will be having there first birthday. At seven months they are doing GREAT!!! They are there own little individuals. They all three have their own little personalities. They have there favorite things to play with and eat. They love to watch Baby Einstein, Barney, Sesame Street and Mickey Mouse. There favorite songs are The Wheels On The Bus, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and If You're Happy and You Know It. They love for you so sing to them and get even more excited when they here a familiar song on TV or from one of there toys. They also love to be read to. We subscribed to the Dr. Seuss books and have quite the collection. They are happy little babies and very full of energy. They keep us on our toes but we LOVE it and would not change it for anything. Random strangers always come up to us and say that they feel sorry for us because we have triplets.....Well I feel sorry for them because they don't. It is triple the love and triple the fun. We could not imagine life any other way.

At seven months Aidens favorite food seems to be bananas and peas. He loves to play under the rainforest play mat and in the ExerSaucer. He is very good with his hands and is very curious. He has figured out how to punch all of the buttons on any of the toys that make noise. He loves to explore new things. If you give him a new toy he will observe it and figure out exactly how to work it. Jason and I always say he will be our little engineer. As long as he has something in his hands to play with or explore he is one happy little guy. He started scooting yesterday so he is now on the go!!!!

At seven months Landons favorite food is.......well just about any food that you put in his mouth. We have yet come across a food that he does not like. He gets SO excited when we put him in his chair to eat and he sees the jar of baby food. He LOVES baby food!!!! He loves to play in the Jumperoo and under the rainforest play mat too. He also LOVES to swing in the swing. He is a very calm and laid back baby. He can sit and entertain himself all day long. He is a happy little guy. He is always smiling or laughing. He has the cutest little giggle and will laugh at anything.

At seven months Coopers favorite food seems to be peaches and peas. He is very picky when it comes to food, but he has no problem eating peaches or peas!!! He is a traveling little dude. He will go from one side of the room to the other just looking at things and playing with toys. When he is not scooting all around the play room he loves to play in the Jumperoo and the ExerSaucer. You should see him in the Jumperoo. He goes crazy!!! Sometimes it looks like he is going to jump right out of the Jumperoo. He is so full of energy and just goes and goes until he cannot go anymore.

It is not so easy to take group pictures with the babies anymore. They are either trying to put their feet in their mouth, lay on top of each other or chew on each other.

Baby Number Two Is On The Move!!

Aiden started scooting today!!! Now we are waiting on Landon and we will have all three babies on the move. Way to go Aiden!!!!!!!!!

A Day At The Playground

It was BEAUTIFUL today so we decided to take the babies to the playground. They had so much fun. The last time we took them Aiden was not a big fan of the swings but this time he LOVED them.

We now have all three babies sucking on their toes. Cooper finally discovered his toes today.

Savings Accounts

The babies received some money for Christmas and today we took them to the bank and opened each one of them a savings account. We were in there for about an hour and they were SO good. Not one of them fussed or cried the entire time.

Our Schedule

People always ask what it's like to be a stay-at-home mom with triplets and how do I get through each day. It is not as bad at you might think. Actually it became pretty easy once I created a schedule. Babies thrive on routine....which I'm sure most of you already know that and as long as we stay on our schedule and the babies get enough sleep every night it runs pretty smoothly and the babies are happy. Everyone always tells me that they could not imagine having three babies........Well, I cannot imagine having just one.

As you might know I used to be a Kindergarten teacher and once I found out that I was having triplets I quit my job to stay at home with them since we knew they would be preemies and that putting them in daycare that soon was not an option. They were born at 33 weeks gestation and preemies do not have a strong immune system like a full term baby does so our doctor advised us to keep them out of childcare for at least the first six months. So this school year I am staying at home with my precious babies.

7:30am - I wake the babies up and they lay in their crib and watch their mobiles until their bottles are made.

7:45am - we go into the playroom and play until 8:00am

8:00am - 6 oz bottle and rice cereal from a spoon

8:30am - 9:30am - play in the playroom, watch Barney,Baby Einstein, Sesame Street or read a book

9:30am - 11:00am - Nap Time

11:00 - Play

11:30am - 6 oz bottle and a vegetable from a spoon

12:00 - 1:00 - Play

1:00 - 3:00pm - Nap Time

3:00 - 3:30 - Play

3:30 - 6 oz bottle

4:00pm - 7:00pm - Play

Ever other night at 6:30pm - Bath Time

6:45 - Change in to PJ's

7:00pm - 8oz bottle

7:30 - Bedtime!!!!

Then............at 7:30am we do it all again!

Since I am home alone with the babies most days, I made this schedule that we follow pretty religiously. We follow this schedule everyday no matter what!!!!! The feedings, bath time and playtime are ALWAYS the same.

Growing Up

Look at how the babies have grown!!!! I put the Rain forest play mat away about three months ago because the babies were not really interested in it anymore. They laid under it a lot when they were younger. I got it out this week and it is there new favorite toy. Look at how they have grown since they used to lay under it.

The babies have become so much more active over the last few weeks. They are picking things up more, taking toys away from each other and have some pretty serious conversations with each other. They love to suck on there toes and are trying really hard to crawl. They are such happy little boys and are always laughing at something. If you cannot tell, they love the camera. As soon as I get it out the smiles come on. They have such different personalities and they each have there favorite toys. We are enjoying every minute with them!!!!!!
