5 months old!!!

Cooper, Landon and Aiden
5 MONTHS OLD

The babies are 5 months old!!!! We have a Dr. apt on Dec 14th so we should have some new weights and heights soon.

AIDEN

Aiden is getting really good with this hands. He can hold objects and pass them back and forth from one hand to another. He just started sucking his two fingers when he goes to sleep. Aiden LOVES to smile and is becoming quite the little talker. He has the nickname "Smiley" because he just cannot stop smiling. He is for sure one happy little guy. He has the cutest deep raspy voice. He also loves to stand like a big boy while you hold his hands.

LANDON

Landon is still our most talkative one. He makes himself known and will talk from the time he gets up in the morning until he goes to bed. I wish I knew what he was saying because he has some pretty serious conversations and he has so much to say. He still LOVES the Jumperoo and he too loves to stand while you hold his hands. He gets the biggest smile on his face when he stands. He is starting to chew on his hands and still loves to play with is feet. He is the slowest when it comes to eating. He takes his sweet little time and has to be watching TV while he eats.

Cooper

Cooper is quite the drooler. He is like a faucet with a leak. I'm pretty sure the is teething and he will not keep his fingers out of his mouth. The last two days he has become quite the chatter box. He has a really high pitch scream and he thinks its quite funny. He will just sit or lay wherever he is and scream really loud and then laugh about it. Cooper is our busy body. He hates to take naps because he is so scared he is going to miss something. He might sleep for 20 min. and then he is wide awake and ready to go. He is for sure our noise child.

All of the babies are so much fun. They all have developed there own personalities and it has been so much fun to be able to watch them grow and change daily. We feel like the luckiest parents ever to be blessed with three beautiful and healthy little boys.

Melinda and Clint came to visit.

On Friday Melinda and Clint Anderson came over to visit the babies. Melinda and I have been friends for many years. We actually went to day care together when we were babies. Melinda has been up to see the babies before but the babies were only two months old and I totally forgot to get pictures. So here are some pictures of Melinda, Clint and the boys.

Aiden, Landon and Coopers First Thanksgiving.

This year was Aiden, Landon and Coopers very first Thanksgiving. We have a lot to be thankful for because we have three healthy and beautiful children and a wonderful supportive family. This year we decided to have Thanksgiving at our house since traveling with three 5 month old babies can be hectic sometimes. We had a house full of people and the babies got LOTS of attention. Thanks to all who came to our home to share this wonderful day with our family.

Busy and Fun week

We started of the week by going to Smithville to visit my Grandma Friedel....aka "Nanny". My sister and niece came over too and we had a great visit. Jason was off work on Tuesday and Wednesday and we went to Katy Mills Mall to get the boys some clothes for there Christmas pictures. We are getting the boys pictures taken at Kiddie Kandids on December 1st and then we are getting our family pictures taken by the very talented Mary Earp in Smithville on December 17th. We are super excited to get our family pictures taken. Jason's sister Tina came over on Wednesday and Thursday. We were planning to take the babies to get there picture taken with Santa but things did not go as planned. On Tuesday we were out and about all day and the babies did not have a nap and were very cranky at the end of the day so we thought we would try for Thursday afternoon. Well, that did not go well either. We stayed home all day to let the babies rest so that they would be happy for pictures and they decided that they did not need to nap ALL day and they were VERY cranky and Jason got off work late so we are hoping to go this week sometime, but we will see. On Friday we had another play date with our neighbor Caden Herzik. It is really funny to watch four 5 month old babies just stare and laugh at each other. They played for about an hour and then my trio fell asleep for about 30 min. After my kiddos woke up Caden fell asleep. So there was more sleeping than playing going on. On Saturday Tina, Twyla and Cade came over to visit with the babies. Twyla grilled hamburgers and brought cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. We had a great visit and a great dinner. Today we are just relaxing and getting ready for Thanksgiving. This year we are having Thanksgiving at our house and both mine and Jason's families are coming over. It will be the trio's first Thanksgiving and then we will be getting ready for Christmas.

We ARE Normal People!!

Yesterday Jason was at work and I was home alone with the babies so I decided to get the babies out of the house and take them to Walmart. I had some pictures that have been there for about two weeks that needed to be picked up and I needed to get a few other things. It amazes me that complete strangers have no problem coming up and touching my babies. WHO DOES THAT ?????? I don't know where there hands have been and I sure don't want them touching my babies. People treat us like we are celebrities when we take the babies out especially when I am out alone with them. WE ARE NORMAL PEOPLE!!!!!! We just have three babies. I know that it is not common to see triplets but come on. You don't have to point and stare. My favorite are the comments and questions that we get.

Are they triplets?
Let me guess two boys and a girl? (For some reason everyone always things Cooper is a girl even though he is wearing boys clothes.)

Did you know you were having triplets before they were born?
Are they all the same age?
Do you sleep at night?
Do they eat at the same time?
Did you take fertility drugs?
"Better you than me"
"Bless you I don't know how you do it"
"Poor you"
What did you do to deserve that?
"I only have one. I could not imaging three"
"You've got your hands full"
"You are brave"
And the list goes on and on....................................

The only thing I was able to get were my pictures. The babies were excellent. It was the swarm of people that kept coming up to us. It was too much so we just left and waited for Jason to get off of work to go back to get our groceries. When Jason and I both go we put two babies in the twin stroller and the third carrier in the basket and it is not so noticeable that we have triplets. People only see the two babies and think we have twins. Don't get me wrong......We LOVE to show off our triplets, but sometimes when you go to the store you just want to get in and get out and get back home.

Anyways just thought I would share my Walmart experience with you.

More Toys and new stuff.

The babies are almost five months old. It seems like the day after they turned three months old that time just started flying. Last week we got another Jumperoo and an ExerSaucer from the lady that gave us the first Jumperoo. The babies have such a great time in the new toys. As a matter of fact, Cooper had so much fun jumping in the Jumperoo he actually fell asleep in it. He was jumping and laughing and all of a sudden it got really quiet. I looked over and he was dead asleep. Each baby has there favorite toy to play in. Aiden always likes to play in the Orange ExerSaucer, Cooper in the Red one and Landon is a HUGE fan of the newest Jumperoo. Since they have been playing in the new toys the last two weeks I have notice that there legs are getting stronger. They love to stand while you hold their hands. I have been wanting them to crawl so bad and they are so close but now that we have the Jumperoos and ExerSaucers they don't want to do tummy time anymore. Cooper can even stand on his own while holding on to something.

This week the babies have really started to notice there hands. Especially Landon. He will sit there and just stare at his hands as he opens and closes them. They still love to play with there feed and Cooper has become quite the thumb sucker. Yesterday when I put the babies down for a nap I noticed that Coop had his thumb in his mouth. I took his thumb out and put his paci in. When I went in to check on him, he had his paci in his mouth and his thumb in the hole to his paci sucking away. He is sure a smart little boy. They all amaze me and change so much each day.

Last weekend we got to spend time with Mims (my mom) and yesterday Aunt Tina (Jason's sister) came over to play with the babies. While we are on the topic of Mims and Aunt Tina Jason and I just want to let you guys know how much we appreciate you!!!! You both have done so much for us since the babies were born and the babies are so lucky to have both of you in there lives. Again, Thanks so much for all that you do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are some pictures from the week.
